Man Stabbed At Local Mall Trying To Stop A Fight: Police
The incident happened on Christmas Eve, and mall security caught and detained the suspect.
A man was stabbed at a mall in Lynnwood on Christmas Eve while trying to break up a fight, police are saying.
The incident happened Saturday around 5 p.m. at the Alderwood Mall outside of the JC Penney store there. A man in his 30s was stabbed as he tried to intervene in a fight between the 19-year-old suspect and another person.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition was unavailable, police said. Police said they do not believe the victim and the suspect knew each other. No one else was harmed during the incident, and Lynnwood Police say that there is no danger to the mall-going public.
