Manslaughter Charge In Killing Of Edmonds Teen

Gala Zuehlke, 17, was shot and killed on Nov. 30 at her Edmonds home.

EDMONDS, WA - A 16-year-old boy is facing a first-degree manslaughter charge in the Nov. 30 shooting death of a 17-year-old Edmonds-Woodway High School student, according to the Everett Herald.

Gala Zuehlke was found dead Nov. 30 near 4 p.m. in the Edmonds apartment she shared with her father. Police at first thought Zuehlke's death was an accident, but did say a Mountlake Terrace teen was wanted for questioning.

The boy was arrested on Dec. 3 after police learned that he may have been preparing to leave the state.
