MOMIX: Dance and Illusion Company Choreographs Seasons With New Show

The group, celebrating its 30th anniversary, is in Edmonds on Friday.

Internationally renowned dance company MOMIX will be interpreting the seasons when it performs Botanica on Friday at the . 

The group, led by artistic director Moses Pendleton, was founded 30 years ago and has since established a reputation for inventive and often illusionistic choreography. 

Botanica is an immersion in the natural world with props and costumes designed in part by Michael Curry. With an score ranging from birdsong to Vivaldi, the show seeks to reveals nature’s changing imagery. It showcases MOMIX's most ambitious multimedia work to date and highlights the energy of the MOMIX performers, with costumes, projections and custom-made props and puppetry.
