Mudslide Stops Sounder North Service Until Monday

The Sounder North line between Everett and Seattle may not resume service until Monday morning.

EDMONDS, WA - Sound Transit has canceled service along the Sounder north line between Seattle and Everett due to a mudslide over the tracks.

Service may not be restored until Monday morning. Sound Transit will provide bus service in place of Sounder trains.

In Edmonds, replacement buses will leave from the Amtrak parking lot at 7:11 a.m. and 7:41 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Commuters can also use the Snohomish County Community Transit 416 bus line, which leaves each morning at 5:45 a.m., 6:15 a.m., 6:34 a.m., 6:55 a.m., and 7:42 a.m.
