Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Hiking Trip

It’s
the 40th anniversary of this important refuge where the Nisqually
River meets Puget Sound.  The flat 5.5 mile loop trail gives budding
naturalists an unobstructed view of birds and other animals that spend the
winter and feed in the nutrient-rich estuary.
Edmonds Parks and Recreation is offering a guided trip on Saturday,
February 8.  The cost is $47 for Edmonds
residents and $54 for non-residents.
There is a $3 per family entry fee at the refuge.  Call 425-771-0230 to register or visit www.crazedigital.org.
