Painting with Credit Cards at Cole Gallery

Sandy Byers brings a select show in oil all painted using credit cards to Cole Gallery from July 17-August 15. Sandy found a way to make credit cards work for her instead of the other way around. Her inspiration for these uniquely painted works came from a recent excursion to Marymere Falls on the Olympic Peninsula.  Realizing too late on her outdoor painting trek that she had left her brushes behind, Sandy made due with what she had- credit cards. This resulted in mesmerizing impressionistic works with a contemporary edge. Meet Sandy at Cole Gallery’s Artists’ reception July 17 from 5-8.  Learn more and view her works at www.colegallery.net.

You can learn her technique in her two day workshop at Cole Art Studio located inside Cole Gallery on August 23-24.  Check out www.coleartstudio.com for more information and to sign up.
