PBS' Rick Steves To Give 'Travel As A Political Act' Talk In Edmonds
The Edmonds-based PBS travel guru will speak at the Edmonds Center for the Arts on Saturday.

EDMONDS, WA - PBS travel guru Rick Steves will give his "Travel as a Political Act" talk for free at an upcoming Edmonds Center for the Arts event.
During the talk, Steves, whose travel company is based in Edmonds, will share his experiences traveling through places like Iran, Palestine, Central America, and Europe. Steves says these travels "walloped his ethnocentricity" and shaped his outlook on social and political issues.
Steves is famous for his PBS travel show "Rick Steves' Europe," and his NPR radio show "Travel With Rick Steves." Steves covers a variety of topics on his shows, from food and sightseeing, to political issues. Steves has also published a book of essays about politics and travel.
