Plane Crash Reported Near Discovery Bay
The crash was reported around 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
The East Jefferson Fire and Rescue department is reporting that a small plane crashed in Discovery Bay, which is west of Port Hadlock on the Olympic Peninsula.
The department posted a photo on Twitter showing a commercial fishing vessel pulling the plane toward the shore. The pilot was reportedly unhurt, according to East Jefferson Fire and Rescue.
The crash happened near milepost 2.5 along State Road 20.
