Pictures From Edmonds PD's Open House
The celebration Sunday was a chance to go behind the scenes as the department celebrates its 100th anniversary.
Curious grownups and wide-eyed children got a close look inside the Edmonds Police Department as it celebrated its 100th anniversary with an open house on Sunday.
It was the first chance for the public to see a mural inside the Edmonds police station by award-winning artist Andy Eccleshall of Edmonds. The mural depicts the Edmonds Historical Museum, where the department was located in the basement before moving to its current location inside the Public Safety Complex.
The Edmonds police department is currently the subject of an exhibit at the museum called "Stick 'Em Up! Celebrating 100 Years of the Edmonds Police Department.”
