Prosecutors Want Edmonds Man's 7th DUI To Be His Last: Report
This was the man's third DUI in six years, according to a report.

EDMONDS, WA - An Edmonds man was recently arrested for his seventh DUI, according to the Everett Daily Herald, and prosecutors are aiming to put him in jail to deter him from getting an eighth. David Gama, 52, was last arrested on Oct. 12 in the parking lot of an Edmonds fast food restaurant after hitting another car, according to the Herald.
Over the summer, Gov. Jay Inslee signed a new law making an offender's fourth DUI a felony punishable by up to 17 months in prison. Until that law was passed, offenders in Washington could rack up five DUIs before facing a felony. Twenty-one states make the third DUI offense a felony.
Snohomish County prosecutors have charged Gama with a felony and he was being held in jail on $400,000 bond, according to the Herald.
