Search On For 2 Missing Pacific Crest Trail Hikers [Update]
Two hikers called for emergency assistance near the border between Chelan and Snohomish counties.

TELMA, WA - Two Pacific Crest Trail hikers who sent on a distress beacon over the weekend have been located, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. The two hikers were apparently not injured.

Two search and rescue teams are combing the Pacific Crest Trail for a pair of hikers who have gone missing. KOMO News reported that the search was temporarily suspended due to bad weather and will resume Monday. The hikers activated an emergency beacon and the search began Saturday.

A Snohomish County search team started its search from the Little Wenatchee Trail head. The Chelan County team started from the Indian Creek Trail head, but both ended up turning around due to poor conditions, including six inches of snow.
