It was a four years ago that Ketola, who is married with four children, found herself with backstage access to a Sting concert at the Gorge Amphitheater. Her employer, Unitus, was the sponsored charity for the former leader of the Police.

When Sting asked for singers to help with a sound check, Ketola—whose background is in Christian music—volunteered. A cellphone video of her singing "Every Breathe You Take" went viral. Sting liked her so much that she ended up actually performing in front of 20,000 people.
