SINGIN' IN THE RAIN FOR THE MUSIC AND ARTS!

The holidays are over and the days are still gray, but the Music and Arts students at Meadowdale High School will perform for your support on Friday, February 19th from 6:30-9:00pm for the second annual Silent Auction and Variety Show.

The event will once again be held at the Edmonds Senior Center (220 Railroad Ave, Edmonds), and promises to be even bigger and better than last year. Live music and performances are sure to entertain you as you snack on delicious appetizers; discover something you can’t live without at the silent auction featuring many great items from local businesses and services; buy a raffle ticket to win one of the generously supplied, themed baskets; and bid on your evening’s sweet treat during the dessert auction. Wine and beer will be available for purchase (cash is encouraged for the dessert auction and beverage bar).

General admission tickets are available for $15. New this year is the ability to purchase a table for the complete VIP experience! All funds raised by this annual event will be put into the general fund for music and the arts, to be used for things such as: repairing and purchasing equipment; paying for student competitions and workshop fees; buying scripts and production rights; and providing student financial aid.

The Meadowdale High School Arts Booster Club (ABC) supports the Performing Arts, Fine Arts, and Literary Arts Programs at MHS by raising funds to provide enrichment opportunities for students beyond those activities that the school district is normally able to offer. It also supports new and existing programs by fostering extracurricular Fine Arts activities, including: Drama Club, Improv Club, National Art Honor Society/Art Club, Writing Club, Photography Club, exhibits and publications. Its further mission is to acknowledge student dedication, effort and excellence in the areas of Fine, Performing and Literary Arts; and, provide outreach by making our community aware of the ongoing events and accomplishments of MHS’ Fine Arts programs.

The Meadowdale High School Music Booster Club is a nonprofit 501(c)3 independent group organized for the purpose of supporting and promoting the education and activities offered by the Meadowdale High School Music Department.
