Small Earthquake Hit Edmonds Wednesday Night
Did you feel the quake? It hit Wednesday underneath Edmonds, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.

EDMONDS, WA - Seismologists have confirmed that a small earthquake struck underneath Edmonds late Wednesday night, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. The magnitude 2.5 quake hit at around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The small Edmonds quake was the latest to strike in the Puget Sound area. Although a magnitude 2.5 quake is relatively small, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network received more than a dozen reports from local residents who felt the quake. There were three reports of shaking from Edmonds, and some reports from cities as far away as Woodinville and Port Ludlow.
The quake hit at a depth of about 14.7 miles, which is considered relatively shallow. The approximate location of the quake was long 240th Street Southwest, just south of the Madrona School.
