EVERETT, WA - A Snohomish County Sheriff's deputy was injured after his patrol car was rammed by fleeing suspect early Wednesday morning north of Mill Creek. Police were able to track the suspects and arrested the driver and two women who were also in the car.

According to Snohomish Sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton, the incident began just before 5 a.m. near the intersection of SR 527 and 121st Street Southeast (also known as Silver Lake Road) in Everett. The deputy was responding to a report of people sleeping in a vehicle in a spot reserved for the disabled. The vehicle they were in was also apparently stolen.

When the deputy approached the car, the suspects allegedly rammed his patrol car. The suspects were later stopped after police used stop-sticks and pursuit intervention technique (PIT).
