SR 99 Closed In Edmonds Pedestrian Collision [Update]

Police reported the crash just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

EDMONDS, WA - The northbound lanes of SR 99 were closed Thursday morning in Edmonds due to a car vs. pedestrian collision, according to police. The lanes reopened around 8:30 a.m., police said.

According to police, a woman was hit while crossing in the middle of SR 99 near 238th Street Southwest around 7:10 a.m. The woman suffered serious injuries to her legs, according to police, and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The driver stayed at the scene and was not impaired, according to police.
