Suspect Who Allegedly Threatened Ex-Wife Eludes SWAT Team in Westgate
Suspect has a robbery conviction.

A police standoff in the Westgate neighborhood of Edmonds ended this morning with the suspect on the loose.
According to public information officer Rebecca Hover of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department, the incident began late Wednesday night in the Picnic Point area north of Edmonds when a man went to his ex-wife’s home and allegedly threatened her with a firearm. He then fled.
No one was injured in the domestic violence incident at Picnic Point, Hoover said.

The Sheriff's department received information that the suspect had traveled to his home in the 9600 block of 234th Street SW in Edmonds.
Because the man, who Hoover said was about 25 years old, reportedly had a gun—and has a robbery conviction in his past—the Sheriff's Department called on the Snohomish County SWAT team to make an arrest.

"We got a search warrant for him and went to arrest him earlier this morning, but he wasn’t there," Hover said. "Either he didn’t go there in the first place, or he left before we got there. We’ll keep looking for him."
