Taekwon Do School Opens on Highway 99 in Edmonds
Bailey's Traditional Taekwon Do College has locations statewide and is based in Edmonds.
Edmonds-based Bailey’s Traditional Taekwon Do College, which has schools statewide, has opened a new location at 22315 Highway 99 in Edmonds.
Tae kwon do is based on a Korean self-defense system like karate.
Ed Bailey, 9th dan black belt instructor and president of Bailey’s Traditional Taekwon Do College, has been teaching tae kwon do in the Edmonds area for more than 30 years.

Bailey's has three generations of black belt instructors teaching at thier two locations in Edmonds: Ed Bailey, Shirley Bailey, 4th dan black belt, and their daughter, Nikka Gaviola, 5th dan black belt, teach at the new location.
The Baileys' granddaughter, Jessika Kearns, 1st dan black belt, and Nikka Gaviola, teach classes through Edmonds Parks and Recreation at the Frances Anderson Center on Main Street.

Bailey's Traditional Taekwon Do College also has locations in Lynnwood, Bothell, Seattle, Maltby, Granite Falls, Duvall, Bellingham, Ferndale, Methow Valley and Pasayten.
