Student At Edmonds-Woodway Threatened With Throwing Knife: Police
The threat caused the school to be placed on lockdown until the suspect could be taken into custody.

EDMONDS, WA - A student was threatened with a throwing knife Tuesday morning at Edmonds-Woodway High School, according to police. The threat prompted officials to place the school on lockdown while the suspect was taken into custody.
The incident began just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when a member of the school staff called police to report that there was a person on the steps of the school asking to fight a student. Another student who tried to intervene was threatened with a knife, Edmonds police reported.
The threatening person, a 16-year-old from Lynnwood, left the school before police got there, but he was found nearby and taken into custody.
