Train Hits Car In Edmonds, 2 Injured
The 76-year-old driver tried to beat the train, according to Edmonds police.

EDMONDS, WA - Two people were injured Wednesday night in a train versus car crash in downtown Edmonds. The 76-year-old driver was trying to beat the train when the crash happened, police said.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. Wednesday near the downtown waterfront at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Dayton Street. The driver went around the crossing arms and got stuck on the tracks, police said.
Thankfully, the train was moving slowly. The driver and her 25-year-old passenger only sustained minor injuries.
