Walgreens Unveils Depictions of Its Proposed Location in Edmonds

Preliminary artist renditions for the proposed Walgreens on Edmonds Way have been submitted to the City of Edmonds.

The depictions, along with design review and other associated files,can be viewed at the City's Web site.

The property owner is San Francisco-based Seven Hills Properties, and the builder is Baysinger Partners Architecture of Portland, OR.

The design, as it stands now, includes a 14,500-square-foot Walgreens in place of existing bowling alley, which will be demolished.

South of the new building, and fronting Edmonds Way, will be a new 3,300-square-foot bank. The name of the proposed bank has not been released.

Preliminary sketches show that a new sign at the Edmonds Way entrance will read "Robinwood Retail Center."
