Woman Yells Racist Remarks At Family In Edmonds: Report

The woman is now facing a malicious harassment charge, according to reports.

EDMONDS, WA - A woman is facing a malicious harassment charge for allegedly yelling racist remarks at a family at an Edmonds McDonald's. The woman was apparently drunk when she yelled at a Latino family to "get out of this country," according to KOMO News.

The incident happened May 4 at the McDonald's near SR 99 and 216th Street Southwest. According to KOMO:

A drunk woman twice spit into someone's car outside an Edmonds McDonald's, then went inside the restaurant to shout insults at a Hispanic family, according to court documents
"Get out of this country," she shouted at the family on the afternoon of May 4. "If you don't speak English, you shouldn't be here," court documents say she told them.

The incident happened about one block south from where two black children were allegedly called racial slurs in February.
