Zombies Invading Edmonds With AMC's Second Season of "The Walking Dead"
Want to be undead this year for Halloween? Here are some suggestions.

We have never spotted a real-live, um, real-dead, zombie in Edmonds.
But you can be sure there will be plenty of live people in zombie-like states tonight at 9 during the premiere of AMC's second season of the wildly popular The Walking Dead.
At the end of the first season, the characters were in the midst of a bloody and deadly struggle to survive, fleeing the Centers for Disease Control as it burst into flames. In season two, they are still on the move, facing more threats and obstacles than ever.

According to a recent costume survey, creepy zombies costumes will be one of the most popular choices for Halloween this year. Zombies came out as the No. 4 choice for adults, beating out black cats, slinky vixens and hot nurses. It was also the No. 9 choice for kids—thankfully American youngsters would still rather dress up as a princess or action hero rather than a decomposing corpse.
The zombie rage can be credited to the rise of zombies in popular culture—there’s more zombies in movies, TV shows, video games and books than you can shake a rotten femur at these days.
Remember when you could just rub dirt in your clothes and green makeup on your skin and call yourself a zombie? Zombie connoisseurs need something much more exciting to stand out this year in the sea of undead.
The Zombie Prom Queen: Because even the undead can look fabulous.
The Zombie Burger Guy: Do you want fries with those braaaaiiiins?
The Zombie Skate Punk: Really? Do you need a costume for this?
The Zombie Doctor: Everyone knows that hospitals will be full of zombies when the zombie apocalypse arrives. But do we really need it in kid sizes?
The Little Girl Zombie: This super creepy costume is well known to fans of the Walking Dead.
The Zombie Politician: Some say Washington, D.C., is already full of the undead.
The Zombie Sock Monkey: the weirdest of the weird, mixing childhood fun with creepy undead. So not right.
