$1,000 in Property Damage, Thefts of Phone and Firewood and Shoplifting in April 12 Blotter

Malicious Mischief: Police received a report at 8:01 a.m. of malicious mischief and property damage at the cost of $1,000 at a location on Cole Street.

Arrest: One person was arrested following a verbal domestic dispute that was reported at 8:42 a.m. at a location on Griffin Avenue; the suspect was arrested on other charges including providing false information, trespassing and an animal problem.

Shoplifting: Police received a report at 11:03 a.m. of a shoplifting that occurred at a business on the 1500 block of Cole Street, amounting to a loss of $8.

Theft: Police received a report at 5:17 p.m. that a cell phone was taken from a property on Semanski Street. It was described as a T-Mobile smart phone LG that was white with a green case. It is valued at $500.

Police received a report at 7:51 p.m. that a suspect fled in a white vehicle from a location on the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue without paying for some firewood.

Suspicious Circumstances: Police received a report at 6:33 p.m. of possible sexual activity occurring in a vehicle parked in the south parking lot of the Expo Center.The responding officer contacted the subjects and advised them to leave the area.
