Two students from Enumclaw recently graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla at its 126th commencement ceremony.
Timothy Folkerth received a Bachelor of the Arts in Rhetoric & Media Studies.
Matthew Sweeney received a Bachelor of the Arts in History. Sweeney is a member of the Enumclaw-based band .

A total of 420 degrees were conferred at the ceremony in front of an estimated crowd of 4,000 students, family members, faculty, staff and guests. The Commencement speaker was Eric Schlosser, journalist and best-selling author of "Fast Food Nation."
