Friday, Feb. 17
Burglary: Several items were reportedly stolen from a garage on 260th Avenue S.E. overnight. The burglary was reported to police at 7:29 a.m.
Theft: Nine fire department connections valued at $225 each were reported stolen at 9:17 a.m. (read the story)

A 200 to 300 pound claw foot tub was reported stolen from the front porch of a property on Wells Street at 10:09 a.m.
Gas Leak Assist: Police assisted fire and the city gas department at a gas leak on Jensen Street at 8:29 p.m. Gas personnel located the leak and fixed the problem.

Saturday, Feb. 18
Injury Accident: A two-car injury accident was reported at 10:57 a.m. on Roosevelt Avenue at Griffin Avenue.
Theft: A purse was reportedly stolen at a property on Roosevelt Avenue at 4:09 p.m.
Burglary: A Playstation and three video games were reported stolen from a residence on Cinkovich Street at 4:55 p.m. The theft was believed to have occurred within the last two hours. The items were worth about $4,000.
Suspended License and Possession: One person was booked for third-degree driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Porter Street at Battersby Avenue at 9:28 p.m. They also face charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Civil Dispute: Police responded to an incident at a residence on Myrtine Street at 2:58 a.m. The reporting party said the residents wouldn't let her get her children and leave. Upon police arrival it was apparent the reporting party was intoxicated. The children were safe and asleep inside the residence. The reporting party would sleep in her car for the night and leave in the morning with her children.
Overdose: Police responded to a residence on Griffin Avenue at 11:42 a.m. and transported a subject to St. Elizabeth Hospital for an involuntary commit.
Assault: Police received a report of an assault at a residence on Cole Street at 6:42 p.m. The incident was an altercation between two residents where one hit the other with a cane when he thought he was in his room. The victim had a facial bruise but didn't need more medical attention.
Police received a report at 10:50 p.m. of a disturbance at an apartment on Roosevelt Avenue where a large group was heard arguing. Police responded and took a male subject into custody for fourth-degree assault domestic violence.
