• Beautify Enumclaw celebrates ten years (courierherald.com) — Enumclaw volunteers are gearing up for the 10th annual Beautify Enumclaw day, meeting at Enumclaw High School on Sept. 12 for a morning ceremony and citywide cleanup projects. Residents can join efforts at local parks, trails, the Expo Center, community garden, and more, helping spruce up public spaces and support Plateau Outreach Ministry while celebrating a decade of community pride.
   

• Veterans return to EHS soccer for another state run - Courier-Herald (courierherald.com) — Enumclaw High School's fall sports season is underway, with girls soccer, volleyball, golf, cross country, tennis, and swim teams all returning key athletes and aiming for strong league and state showings. • Joyce Sharp Passed Away : VOICE of the Valley (voiceofthevalley.com) — Family and friends are invited to honor longtime Maple Valley resident Joyce Sharp at a celebration of life on October 11 in Enumclaw, at 38010 Veazie Cumberland Road SE. Remembered for her years driving for Tahoma schools and her warm, witty personality, she leaves a close-knit family and many community connections who will gather to share memories and support one another.
