• Enumclaw community rallies behind local boy injured in football game (seattleweekly.com) — Enumclaw neighbors and youth football families are rallying around 10-year-old Jr. Hornet player Mac Reynolds, who suffered a neck injury at Pete's Pool and was airlifted to Harborview but is now home in a brace. Supporters have already raised most of a $20,000 GoFundMe goal, yet the family still expects significant uncovered medical costs, and locals can help through donations or "Enumclaw Strong" T-shirt purchases.

• Enumclaw girls' soccer left wanting more in scoreless draw vs. Raiders - Courier-Herald (courierherald.com) — Enumclaw High's girls soccer team battled Thomas Jefferson to a frustrating 0–0 draw after dominating the second half but missing multiple chances, including a saved penalty. Coming off a loss to White River, the Hornets now regroup for a home match against Kent-Meridian on Sept. 16 and an away non-league game at Fife on Sept. 21.

• Car hits, injures two Kent elementary school students (federalwaymirror.com) — Two Kent elementary students suffered minor injuries when a car jumped the curb near Neely-O'Brien Elementary and hit them on the sidewalk, sending both to Valley Medical Center for evaluation. Police say the driver, a 33-year-old Enumclaw man, was cooperative and showed no signs of impairment but was cited for negligent driving while investigators work to determine why his vehicle left the roadway.
