Riding a 3-0 start, the Hornets now host Federal Way at the Enumclaw Expo Center this Friday night in a key league matchup with first-place implications.
   

• Person rescued from Auburn woods after getting lost along river (kiro7.com) — Emergency crews, including Enumclaw Fire, helped locate and safely rescue a person who became lost while walking along the river near Stuck River Drive in Auburn Sunday night. Responders from several South King County agencies found the individual within about an hour, brought them out of the woods, and confirmed there were no reported injuries.
   

• Mission Ridge unseats Crystal Mountain as Pacific Northwest's best ski resort (ncw.news) — Enumclaw-area skiers may notice a shakeup in regional bragging rights as Mission Ridge edged out nearby Crystal Mountain Resort for the Seattle Times' 2026 Best in the PNW ski hill title. Crystal, located near Mount Rainier in Enumclaw, still earned Silver, with both mountains praised for strong on-snow experiences despite a tough low-snow season.
