• Senior Center to host grand re-opening (courierherald.com) — Enumclaw seniors will soon be back in their refreshed Senior Center, which reopens with a ribbon-cutting celebration on Oct. 14 at noon featuring entertainment and refreshments. After a summer operating from the VFW Hall, the center now boasts new flooring, ceilings, lighting, and other upgrades funded by city money and a federal grant originally tied to a larger community center proposal voters rejected.
