2nd Annual Enumclaw Street Fair Idol Contest Open for Registration

Enumclaw Street Fair is now accepting applications for the 2nd annual Enumclaw Street Fair Idol Vocal Contest. The contest will take place from 5:00pm-8:00pm on July 22 & 23rd at the downtown celebration mainstage. Only 20 contestant spots are available and will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Qualifying contestants must be age 12-20 and reside in Enumclaw, White River, Tahoma or Bonney Lake boundaries. Contest is open to solo vocal acts only.

Contestants must supply karaoke C.D. 1 week prior to the event. Contestants should have 3 songs prepared (see details in schedule below) Judges will comment after each round with exception of round 4.

• May 2, 2011: Contest opens for entries...only 20 spots. Register early!!
• Fri. July 22 - 4:30 p.m.:  Contestants gather at stage for line-up & instructions
• Fri. July 22- 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m.: Round 1—90 second song cut - Song #1 (judges will comment). The top 10 contestants move onto Round 2
• Sat. July 23 - 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m.: 

1. Round 2/TOP 10— 2 minute song cut—Song #2 (judges will comment) Top 5 contestants move onto Round 3.
2. Round 3 / TOP 5— Full Song - Song #2(judges will comment)
3. Round 4 / TOP 3: Full song performed - Song #3 (No Judge comments)

• 2011 Enumclaw Idol Top Contestant Announced

The winner of the contest will be presented a $100 cash prize and will be and will hold the title of Enumclaw Idol for a year. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for young talented individuals to present their vocal talents and strut their stuff while contributing to the line-up of events at the annual Street Fair.
