Taco Time Northwest, a northwest-based family-owned Mexican quick service restaurant, is now accepting orders for its 2012 Taco Time Coupon Book fundraising program, which has raised more than $1.5 million for local non-profit organizations since its inception in 2004.
The coupon books are free for local registered non-profit organizations including athletic teams, youth groups and schools, and are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Books contain $5 worth of savings at Taco Time NW restaurants and are sold for $1, with all proceeds going directly to the non-profit organization.
“Through the coupon book program, Taco Time NW has helped more than 600 local non-profits, including the Ballard Northwest Senior Center, Maple Valley Youth Symphony and Boy Scout Troop 39,” said Gretchen Everett, marketing and advertising director of Taco Time NW. “We’ve been committed to our community since Taco Time NW was founded almost 50 years ago and the coupon books are our way to help local organizations reach their fundraising goals.”
Taco Time NW is offering 200,000 coupon books to local non-profit organizations with proof of 501(c)3 status. Requests must be received by February 28, 2011. Coupons are valid from January 2 until April 30, 2012 at all 72 Puget Sound-area Taco Time NW restaurants.
