Sortland also interviewed a potential witness who said that Alvidrez had inappropriate sexual contact with her when she was a teen between 2001 and 2002.
He has not been charged in that incident.
βOther witness accounts indicate that the defendant has been inappropriate with other girls around the same age,β prosecutors wrote in seeking $100,000 bail, adding that Alvidrez should not be allowed to have a position with authority over any minors.
KOMO news and the Courier-Herald first reported on Alvidrezβs arrest last week.
The victim's mother and the victim herself called for others who may have been affected to come forward. "We can stand together," the girl told KOMO.Β
Alvidrez's arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.
