Arts on the Plateau: Out of sight, out of mind?
Susan wants her readers to know what's going on in her life and when she will be returning back home to continue weekly blogs about Arts On the Plateau.

Hello, Enumclaw! If anyone has been wondering if I quit blogging, the answer is no. Since I usually don't get a lot of comments on my blog, but thanks to Dexterjibs I know there's some interest out there, I wonder if anybody missed me?Actually I am in Florida until March 6th. Been here a while. Don't be jealous. I am not soaking up the sun. It's a "business" trip. I had moved back to my Washington roots only 8 months ago but I left behind many unsettled matters here in Lakeport, Florida; like a house I want to sell, funiture I don't need, and a favorite old car to sell. More than 20 years of saved paperwork and documents to sort through and burn what is now irrelevant. I need to shed all these material possessions so I am free and unencumbered to enjoy my challenging life in my new hometown that I was so blessed to find. I am confiding this because I want you, the readers, to know I am not a quitter, just on furlough for awhile. I may slip in a few sporadic stories here and there but actually effectively interviewing people in the arts needs a hands-on touch, personal interviews and observations. And I am distracted now with many tasks and little time. So, Susan is thinking of you and can't wait to get back. Even to the rain and cold because the people of Enumclaw have the warmest hearts!
