Buckley Man Critically Injured in Work Accident
He was working on a downed pole when a wire snapped, knocking him under a work truck.
A 40 year-old Buckley man was taken to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center in critical condition Friday morning after the Potelco lineman was run over by his co-worker driving their work truck.
The accident occurred about 3:30 in the 14500 block of SE Tiger Mountain Road, a King County sheriff's news release says. The men were replacing a power pole that was knocked down the previous evening.
The injured man was working on the downed pole when a wire snapped back and knocked him under the rear tires of the truck, which was driving past at a very slow speed.
