Burglary, Gas Theft and Child Hanging out Window in June 13 and June 14 Blotter

Wednesday, June 13
Drunk: An officer observed an intoxicated man in a parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue at 1:04 a.m., urinating in public.
Suspicious Person Resolved: A resident on Schmid Street reported at 8:36 a.m. there was a man at that door they didn't recognize and it had been the third time he had approached the home. The responding officer found the man was representing a process service, and he was told the person he was looking for had not lived at the address for a while. The man said he was not going to return.

Drug Citation: Police responded to the 200 block of Semanski Street at 12:57 p.m. for a report that two men were seen in a vehicle, possibly smoking marijuana. One man was cited and released for possession of marijuana/drug paraphernalia.
No Quad Riding: Police located a person riding a quad in the road way in the area of Chinook Avenue and Porter Street at 3 p.m. and advised them it was against the law.

Child Hanging out Window: Police responded to a Washington State Patrol report at 7:59 p.m. that they saw a small child hanging outside of a window on the second floor. The parent was asleep. The responding officer advised they should close the window and the parent complied. (Children's Hospital Colorado with more info on children and window safety.)
Thursday, June 14
Burglary: Police received a report at 10:17 a.m. that a storage shed on Aspen Lane had been broken into. It was unclear what was missing.
Gas Theft: Police received a report at 2:39 p.m. that about five gallons of gas was removed from a vehicle parked on Warner Avenue.
Racing Skateboards: Police responded to Cole Street at 6:29 p.m. to a report that juveniles were racing skateboards in traffic. They were asked to stop.
