Join us for our Annual Meeting featuring local author S.J. Gruberg. S.J. 'Sandi' will discuss her recently published novel, "The Rainmaker's Child," involving the challenges faced by a young carnival performer, her 'Rainmaker' father, and other family members during the closing days of World War II. As a self-published author, she'll share the considerations involved, as well as the challenges and benefits of self-publishing. An Auburn native, and University of Washington graduate, the author taught academic writing for Central Washington University. She is now an educator and advocate for individuals with disabilities.A brief business meeting will precede the presentation. Light refreshments will be served; book copies will be available for purchase.
