Canadian Cop Rescued From Mount Rainier
An Army helicopter rescued the Canadian officer on Thursday from near the summit, according to reports.

ENUMCLAW, WA - A member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police was rescued from atop Mount Rainier on Thursday afternoon, according to reports. The officer, Dennis Endong Cui, 27, was apparently suffering from hypothermia. He is recovering in a Tacoma hospital.
According to the Associated Press, Cui was hiking up Rainier via Fuhrer Finger on the south side of the mountain when he became ill. Cui then decided to climb down the mountain on his own, and that's when his hiking companions called 911.
An Army Chinook helicopter was called to rescue Cui. He was plucked from Gibraltar Rock, which is just south of the Rainier summit.
