A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Monday, March 12.

Unattended Child: Police received a second hand report at 8:58 a.m. of a brown car in the Expressions at Enumclaw assisted living facility with a young child inside who appeared to be cold. The same situation reportedly happened a week ago. The vehicle was gone when police arrived. At 2:17 p.m., police followed up with a reported incident that involved a brown 1997 Toyota Camry that was said to have been parked by a dumpster at the nursing home; but it wasn't clear which nursing home this second incident was connected with. On Tuesday morning, police checked all area health care facilities and was unable to locate the vehicle.
Mental Health Assist: King County Mental Health requested officer assistance at 12:10 p.m. while they removed a man from his residence on Watson Street North.
Driver in Training: Police received a report at 12:18 p.m. of a reckless driver on Cole Street at Griffin. The vehicle was observed crossing over lanes at variable speeds as it entered the city from Auburn and may have hit a street light on Cole. It reportedly parked on Initial and switched drivers. Upon officer contact, it was determined this was a drivers training session and the trainee wasn't used to driving in the city and was nervous. The mother took over driving and would continue throughout the rest of the trip. There was no damage to the vehicle or light pole.
