DUIs, Noise Complaints and a Halloween Scare Round out this Long Weekend's Police Reports

Friday, October, 28
Assault/Domestic Violence: A woman was arrested following a domestic dispute reported at a property on Cole Street at 1:14 a.m. for fourth-degree assault domestic violence A. A second charge was later filed regarding the violation of a no contact order.
Vehicle Vandalized: Police received a report at 3:51 a.m. that a window on the driver's passenger side of a vehicle parked on Battersby Avenue at Wells Street was broken by a rock.

Shoplifting: Police received a report that cigarettes were stolen from a business on Roosevelt Avenue at 12:47 p.m.
Domestic Dispute: Police responded to a report of a verbal dispute between a son and his parents in a vehicle on the side of 244th Avenue S.E. at S.E. 448th Street at 1:42 p.m. The matter was settled.

Suspicious Person: Extra patrol was requested in the area of Kibler Avenue for a suspicious person that lives on Pioneer Street and is often seen nearby.
Involuntary Commit: Police assisted in responding to a suicidal female at a location on Semanski Street at 4:32 p.m. and committing her to Auburn Regional Hospital.
No Camping in Parking Lot: Police responded to a report of a man camping out of his pickup in the parking lot on Railroad Street at Griffin Avenue at 5:51 p.m. He was told there was no camping allowed in the area; he would move on to find an area that permitted camping, he told officers.
Saturday, October 29
DUI: A driver was arrested following a traffic stop on Griffin Avenue at Fell Street at 1:27 a.m.
Another driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Cole Street at Lincoln Avenue at 10:44 p.m.
Fire Assist: Police assisted Fire District No. 28 firefighters with traffic control at the site of a structure fire on S.E. 424th Street at 2:41 p.m.
Hunter's Car Broke Down: Police responded to a report of a man walking in the area of S.E. 448th Street at 2:57 p.m. who was carrying guns. He was a hunter whose vehicle broke down and he was walking home. The officer provided a courtesy transport.
Hit and Run: A hit and run was reporting in a parking lot on Roosevelt Avenue at 8:10 p.m. There was no information on the suspect vehicle.
Noise: Police responded to a complaint of loud music from the Crystal Saloon at 8:51 p.m. The responding officer checked the noise level both inside and out and found the soundproof shutters up and the music inside allowed for conversation.
Police also responded to a complaint of music from the Expo Center at 10:16 p.m. There was an event there. The complainant asked about sliding doors that were supposed to be closed while music was playing; the responding officer contacted security staff on site and found the doors were closed.
Sunday, October 30
Assault: Police responded to a 911 hangup at a location on Roosevelt Avenue at 2:52 a.m. and found an assault had occurred between two women. The victim declined to press charges.
A woman entered the police station at 9:31 p.m. to report her son had assaulted her at her residence on Initial Avenue.
Involuntary Commit: An officer responded to a report of an individual refusing to get into their parents' vehicle at 7:28 p.m. They were transported for involuntary commitment to a site that has been redacted in police reports.
Monday, October 31
Juveniles: Police received a report of a male wearing a clown mask who was throwing rocks at passing vehicles on Porter Street at McHugh Avenue at 7:32 a.m. He was gone upon police arrival.
Police received a report of teens hanging out of a white Avalon in the area of Warner Avenue at Semanski Street at 6:54 p.m. Their parents were contacted and the matter was settled.
No Camping: A man was found sleeping under the awning area of a property on Watson Street North at 7:37 p.m. and was given a warning to leave the area.
Noise: Police responded to an ongoing noise complaint concerning a barking dog at a residence on Griffin Avenue near Initial Avenue at 8:01 a.m. Their call was canceled as the dog stopped parking but the complainant was advised to follow up with King County Animal Control.
Suspicious Person: Police received an anonymous report of a suspicious man watching the children's play area on 284th Avenue S.E. at State Route 410 at 12:57 p.m. He was seen sitting in an older model blue or turquoise Mercury and was described as a white male in his late 50s with thick glasses. He usually leaves the area when he thinks someone has noticed him, the report says. A request for extra patrols has been made.
Trespassing at High School: Three men were detained at Enumclaw High School at 2:26 p.m. for trespassing.
Not Trick-or-Treating: Police received a report that three teenaged girls were chased by a large subject dressed in black with a white mask in the area of Florence Street at 7:55 p.m. A nearby resident had the girls come into the house and called police as the subject did come back by the residence. Officers checked the area, and the girls contacted their parents.
DUI: A driver was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at 244th AVenue S.E. at 11:01 p.m.
