EHS Students Showcase Top Talent at Weekend Solo/Ensemble Content

Enumclaw was well-represented at the WIAA WMEA State Solo/Ensemble Contest this weekend at Central Washington University.

The following is a announcement put out by the Enumclaw High School Band Director Lynda Alley regarding this weekend's successes by EHS students.

Sam Horn is the State Champion on the tuba and Zachary Bainter placed third on bass clarinet.Β 

This year, Enumclaw was well-represented at the WIAA WMEA State Solo/Ensemble Contest this past weekend at Central Washington University.Β  Only the top musicians in every region in the state are selected to go, and 10 students from Enumclaw High School were selected to compete at the state level.Β Β

Thomas Horn, Kelsey Watson, Alyssa Hudon, Anne WolfeΒ andΒ LoriΒ received 'Excellent Ratings' at the state contest.Β  Sam Horn, Zach Bainter, Mary Jarvis, Kaelynn Dirks and Dane Chevassus received 'Superior Ratings.'
