Elderly Horseback Rider Injured In Fall Near Echo Lake
The rider was airlifted to safety by King County rescue personnel.
GREENWATER, WA - An elderly horseback rider was injured after falling off his horse near Echo Lake Wednesday afternoon, according to Pierce and King County officials. The rider was severely injured in the fall, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office. He was treated at the scene and then taken to a local hospital, according to King County.
