To paraphrase one of my favorite singers, Dave Stamey, I see it as my job to show the west to as many people as I can. Colors, motion, and the people make up the images that represent both the reality and the myth that informs that reality. The “West” is where I live. I want to share that. A special reception for the artist will feature a “Western Poetry” reading Friday, September 7, 2018, from 3 - 4:30 pm in Gallery 2018 at Enumclaw City Hall. The event is sponsored by City of Enumclaw and 4Culture of King County. Gallery 2018 is located in the Council Chambers at Enumclaw City Hall. 1339 Griffin Ave. Enumclaw, WA 98022. Hours for the exhibition space are 9:30 a. m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Enumclaw City Hall is closed on national holidays. Gallery 2018 is closed to the public on Tuesday of each week for municipal court proceedings.
