Enumclaw Hosting Narcan Learning Event Tuesday

ENUMCLAW, WA - An event in the city tonight aims to teach citizens about the potentially life-saving benefits of the drug Narcan.

Narcan can help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, which could save the life of someone addicted to heroin or pain killers. The event is aimed at people who know someone addicted to an opiate and want to know how to use Narcan.

The event will instruct people on where to get Narcan, and also about treatment for people with an addiction. The Narcan learning event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Enumclaw Green River Community College campus, 1414 Griffin Ave.
