Enumclaw Lotto Winner Plans 'Bucket List' Road Trip

The Enumclaw woman hit a jackpot recently at the QFC along Monroe Avenue.

ENUMCLAW, WA - An Enumclaw woman recently won $80,000 playing the Washington Lottery's Hit 5 game. The woman, whose identity is being withheld, is planning to use the winnings for a "bucket list" road trip across the U.S.

The woman won the prize after playing the game at the QFC on Monroe Avenue. She told state lottery officials that she plays Hit 5 and Powerball using a combination of birth dates from family members.

“When I first purchased the ticket, I was out of town, so I just glanced at the numbers and thought there is no way that I actually won,” the winner told lottery officials. “When I got home, I checked my numbers and still couldn’t believe it.”
