Enumclaw Mayoral Candidate Announces Cancer Diagnosis
City Councilman Jan Molinaro was diagnosed with lymphoma in June, according to his campaign.

ENUMCLAW, WA - Enumclaw City Councilman and mayoral candidate Jan Molinaro has announced that he has been diagnosed with lymphoma, according to the Molinaro's Facebook page. Molinaro will continue his campaign for mayor, and his prognosis is good, he said in a press release. He is competing against Councilwoman Kimberly Lauk for mayor.
Molinaro was initially diagnosed in June and is undergoing treatment. There are a number of different types of lymphoma, and the cancer affects the immune system.

When City Councilman Jan Molinaro announced his mayoral candidacy, he stated respect and integrity would be a major aspect of his campaign. In keeping with that theme, he wishes to provide important information to the citizens of Enumclaw.
Jan Molinaro will continue to campaign for office while be treating for lymphoma in the near future. This is with the expectation of what his doctor describes as an "excellent outcome."
Enumclaw has been my home for over 22 years and it has been my passion to serve our great city. I will continue to do so with integrity and transparency", said Jan Molinaro.
He also wishes for prayer while his family meets this challenge with positive energy and thoughts.
Jan Molinaro is currently serving on Enumclaw's City Council and is a candidate for mayor with over 35 years of Operations Management experience.
