Enumclaw Police: Multiple Spray Paint Vandalism Reported, and Man Calls Cops After Bartender Cuts Him Off

The following information for April 26 through April 30 was provided by the Enumclaw Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, April 26

Property Damage: A company vehicle at a business on the 2900 block of Griffin Avenue was spray-painted sometime overnight and reported at 8:47 a.m.

A vehicle on the 6400 block of Griffin Avenue was spray-painted overnight and reported at 9:17 a.m.

A stop sign on Roosevelt Avenue at Semanski Street was reportedly spray-painted and was reported to the city at 2:25 p.m. for repair.

Black spray paint was applied to the windows, side and rear panels of a vehicle on the 2100 block of Semanski Street. It was reported at 4:31 p.m.

Assault: Police responded to a business on the 1600 block of Pioneer Street at 9:01 a.m. for a report of inappropriate contact by a client.

Threats: A citizen on the 2900 block of Porter Street reported at 3:19 p.m. feeling threatened by an individual who walks by his house. He called police again at 5:03 p.m. because the individual had walked by again; the subject was arrested on an outstanding Enumclaw warrant.

Saturday, April 27

Tween Phone Calls: Police responded to a home on the 600 block of Harmony Lane at 2:23 a.m. for a report a 12-year-old girl was repeatedly calling a resident in Idaho at 3 p.m. The person asked her to stop by she wouldn't comply. Police contacted her parents who would handle the situation.

Family Theft: A resident on the 2700 block of Elmont Avenue caught a family member stealing money from his house at 5:31 p.m. and called police. The suspect was arrested for theft and criminal trespass.

Sunday, April 28

Domestic Problem: One man was arrested in a reported domestic assault between brothers at 11:53 a.m. at a home on the 700 block of Melody Lane.

Theft: A wallet was reportedly taken from a location on the 1500 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 2:45 p.m.

A Warning: Police responded to the 900 block of Roosevelt Avenue at 4:11 p.m. for a report a young child was seen alone in a vehicle in the parking lot. The parent was located and counseled.

Limit Reached: A customer at a bar on the 1500 block of Railroad Street called police at 10:58 p.m. because the bartender had cut him off and he thinks the bartender was being abusive. The matter was settled.

Monday, April 29

Vehicle Prowl: A vehicle on the 1400 block of Mountain View Drive was prowled overnight and a window broken. Nothing was reported taken when police were notified at 8:35 a.m.

Taking Responsibility: Police responded to the 1300 block of Harding Street at 4:30 p.m. for a report of property damage. The responding officer found no damage but a board was knocked out of place. He located the juveniles responsible for it and they fixed the board.

Noisy Party: Police shut down a party on the 700 block of Natalie Place at 11:29 p.m. following a noise complaint and a report of a possible fight.

Tuesday, April 30

Hit and Run: Police received a report at 1:19 p.m. of a hit and run that occurred prior on the 2900 block of Porter Street.

Property Damage: Police received a report at 2:15 p.m. of property damage to a location on the 700 block of Melody Lane following a prior domestic issue.

Disturbance: One person was arrested for a weapon violation and public nuisance after police responded to the 1300 block of Garrett Street at 5:10 p.m.
