Enumclaw Robotics Team Techno-Bots Confident at State Competition

Enumclaw High School's Techno-Bots is one of 24 teams statewide competing in the Washington State FTC Championships this weekend.

Enumclaw High School's Techno-Bots team was busy making last-minute preparations ahead of the Washington State FTC Championship this current weekend, and Patch got to hang out and check out their work.

We caught up with the gang again on Saturday night as teacher Jim LovellFord was packing it up with the team to head home after the first day's competition.

According to LovellFord, the total competition encompasses three parts: an interview with the team, a hardware review and then a software review. The first two parts were completed Saturday.

"I think it went great," LovellFord told us on the phone of the first day. "The kids were really enthusiastic and they kept them overtime since they had so many questions for them."

Team member Danielle Terrell added, "I think it went really well. We're just going into this competition really positive and ready to win."
