Enumclaw Street Fair Race Redux: The Littlest Runners

Though we reported the top overall 25 finishers in , along with the top three finishers in each age group, we were remiss in forgetting the little guys -- 22 little runners, in fact, who took part in the one mile Kids Dash race.

We want to thank even organizer Rene' Popke for sharing a few photos from that race with us. Unlike the grown-up race, the runners in the mile run weren't timed though the clock was running, she said.

However, the first to cross the finish line was clearly young Jacob, son of Enumclaw City Councilman Darrel Dickson, who was but a blur in Popke's camera he was so fast!

Congratulations, Jacob, and all the runners for a race well-run!
