Fireworks Damage, Property Found and Shoplifting in July 5 and Early July 6 Blotter

Thursday, July 5

Found Coat: A camo-print winter coat was found on July 2 on the 1400 block of Wells Street and turned over to police at 10:49 a.m. Thursday.

Fireworks Damage: Two vehicles on Sun Mountain Drive were reported damaged by fireworks overnight.

Stolen Vehicle Recovered: Police recovered a stolen vehicle on the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue at 1:54 p.m.

Theft: A chain saw was stolen out of a back of a vehicle on Roosevelt Avenue earlier in the week. An officer looked into a possible lead in the theft at 4:33 p.m. but it did not turn up the stolen item.

Friday, July 6

Shoplifting: A woman was arrested at her home for shoplifting three cans of Four Loko from a business on the 2400 block of Griffin Avenue at 12:31 a.m.
